So two attempts on the President life, no one has been brought to justice, and you are implying those goons were qualified, experienced, and intelligent?

Ok, so it moved. It definitely moved. But I need rock-hard about this.

I won't mind if they have no people left.

Pulte is nowhere close to being qualified and goes against the explicitly written qualifications to have significant experience in the intelligence world. That’s why even Republicans are dead set against his hiring. Our country’s safety is at stake.
Yes…he is temporary but can be in that position up to 200 days where he can do significant damage and leave our country completely vulnerable. All he will do is act on Trump’s bidding for retribution. And now Trump is holding hostage this country’s safety using his proposed voting rights bill. Trump does not care one bit about our country but only staying in power and retribution.
The ole "experience" excuse. You think because Shiff and Warner being experienced on the intel committees is a qualification to overthrow the existing president.....thats a good thing??????
The fact that those two are adamently opposed tells you everything, well them and you

Why ohh why did Tulsi not fire all the remaining saboteurs?

You’re acting like government agencies are filled to the brim with competent people. They’re not. Desk jobs at government agencies are not the normal place for competent people.

You literally are suggesting that it’s Trump( the individual) vs The United States of America.
But that’s been the reality since 2016…

I see a lot of people supporting Pulte's move here to purge ODNI of hundreds of staff and sure, I get that this board and millions of others are on board with thinning out the Federal ranks, rooting out deep state, etc. There is likely some merit there.
What I'm legitimately interested in hearing from anyone is a rational defense for Pulte being put in as Director of National Intelligence. Especially interested in the opinions of any of the active-duty service members or veterans out there.

Is this one of those ‘he doesn’t have experience’ points about how he hasn’t been a politician in a bureaucrats job for 60 years?
Posted on 6/19/26 at 2:03 pm to Padme
No, I'm genuinely curious as to why people support this move. I see all the support for purging the staff. I just don't see any supporting arguments from anyone on why he is the right person for the job. I'm not looking to set up a debate, I'm legit curious.

Well the most obvious reason for him to be an ax man is because he’s temporary. The targets are probably already lined up, the next secretary can focus on whatever it is that this bureaucracy does.

Retribution you say.... Yes, deserved and severe punishment is exactly what we are asking for. Welcome back to reality, we've missed you. Fagot ;)

We can keep doing this the loyalty over competency way…. and just cross our fingers and hope we don’t get continuously body slammed by the likes of Iran….
It would be hilarious if it wasn’t so sad.

That’s correct. He is the ax man with no expectations of leadership…

Bc he’s just the axe man. Tulsi’s lieutenant is the one running the show that knows where the bodies are buried. I forget his name, but he is staying on.

In related news, Trump is simultaneously hunkered down at Camp David. Somewhere he doesn't particularly care to be. Makes you wonder who else might be joining him, away from prying eyes.
Oh, and John Solomon just announced yesterday that he's oddly/temporarily going to step down from his position as Editor for his own media company to assist the federal govt in managing docs being released to the public (DECLAS) related to govt weaponization and election integrity.
Probably nothing
