It’s mind boggling how you people still don’t see the problems with this side of Trump.
Sure, it drive up his share of the GOP. He has 80% of 45% of the electorate, but effectively none of the rest.

Are there really that many people who vote for either Biden or DeSantis depending who is on the ticket?
I'm not against DeSantis. I just don't get your logic. With the new election laws and Demographic changes, we are basically dead in the water no matter how you slice it. Trump sending out mean Truths isn't changing that calculus one iota.
The results are basically already baked and it's just a matter who has the machinery and who can gather more ballots than the other guy.
We need to start looking for ways to provoke the left into overplaying their hand. The one benefit I see in Trump is he has a tendency to trigger and provoke them like no other. The more they are provoked and over react, the better chance we have of people start seriously thinking about things like a national divorce or convention of the states.

They do realize it and don't care.
Trump and MAGA don't care about winning the general election.
They just want to make sure the GOP stays the party of Trump, even if it means losing year after year after year.
And make no mistake - if Trump is the nominee in 2024, it's going to be bloodbath for the GOP. But maybe that's exactly what the GOP needs - bitter medicine to excise the Trump cancer that is handing election after election to the Democrats.
