The obsession this country has with entertainment is obscene.
Because they're directly and openly trying to separate kids from their parents and plant a false ideology in their minds.

Who the frick gives one shite about fricking Disney and their Mickey-mouse bullshite?
People who care about their kids. If you don't have any, please keep it that way.

This is true but it's much more complex than that.
They're not doing this kinda shite because they stick their collective finger in the air and kinda guess which way to lean.
Exhaustive, advanced market research goes into this shite and right now, it's obvious the Disney market at large just doesn't care about this or more importantly, endorses it.
Disney is simply giving the people what it's research says it wants and that's what so many of you struggle with. Many of you can't possibly believe that the Disney market could want this or be utterly indifferent to it. Well they do and they are.
I know lots of conservative people that would never vacation again if that vacation couldn't be at Disney World. People are frickin' gaga over all things Disney.
Well Disney believes they can keep their wholesome family types (which they are) and at the same time capture more liberals (which they are).
They know what they're doing people and they're winning.

Yep, with a lot, apparently, at Disney. Or did you not even read the OP?
I feel sorry for you, but I feel worse for your family with your attitude toward them.

Stepped too far out of shadows this time though. You’d be hard pressed to find someone whose family enjoyed going more than mine, and I canceled Disney plus and won’t be going back to the parks anytime soon.
I’m sure they’ll write off the losses for now, but they’ll add up

Pardon my ignorance on this, but what is DEI?
I call it DIE.
It seems more appropriate as the goal seems to be to kill off America as a functioning nation state.

We get it, edge lord. You don’t go to Disney. We don’t care.
But stop the bullshite “Why should we care what Disney does?” act. You know damn good and well this garbage isn’t limited to Disney or it’s theme parks. Millions of kids are exposed to a lot of content from Disney aside from the parks. Disney is engaging in advocacy just like many other corporations. And the media. And academia.

Like a rabid dog backed in a corner.
Disney is being reckless. Looks like they are imploding.

We've allowed megaphones to get into the hands of the mentally ill and they are shouting everyone down with their incoherent lunacy.

It's up to conservatives and moderates to stop giving Disney money. That's the only thing that will work to stop the madness.

I encourage everyone to ignore the bloviating of Disney executive leadership, from CEO Bob Chapek all the way down to park VPs. These people are not thought-leaders or cultural revolutionaries. They are cowards held hostage by the prevailing narrative, and they will run in whichever direction that narrative dictates.
They do not represent the members of the Disney parks and resorts division. We are as diverse as the country itself, and the company’s attempts to use us as a bloc to push their political agenda is intolerant, exploitative, and profoundly un-Disney.
I feel for the conservatives and unwoke who are caught in the middle of this at Disney. If they don't like it they can certainly leave, but it sucks that they'd have to give up what most of them probably consider their dream job (Imagineering is the cream of the crop for a lot of people), not to mention trying to find another job because their company is going down the political and social toilet.
That being said, anyone who has visited Disney Parks in the last ten years knows that there are plenty of cast members in parks who are woke as hell, so that last quote might be a stretch.

Big updoots to Ethan for putting his name to it assuming he isn’t quoting someone I don’t have time to read the whole article.
It says at the bottom of the article that Ethan L. Clay is a pseudonym. Can you blame them?

Ah yes, the newest progressive lunatic failed deflection attempt for defending pedophilia. “Why do people even care about that anyway?”

Turns out The Office had Disney pegged fifteen years ago.

Frick Disney. Will never spend another dime in their perverted hell holes. I hope they go broke.

the fact that they call the employees cast members should tell you all you need to know.
Its all an act for power and money.
Desantis needs to find his balls and tell Disney to STFU or GTFO.
Florida will survive just fine without Disney

We’ve had nick turned off since they did the blank air for BLM, it’s only gotten worse.
Bluey is about the only kids show that isn’t terrible.
Ours watch mostly stuff on Netflix and YouTube now
