Don’t care about lies. I vote on policies. Didn’t ask my president to be an alter boy or a priest.

Dr Martin Luther King didn’t give such a speak you liar.

See how easy that was?

And if these are the things you have to complain about, you have nothing to complain about. Democrats actually harm people, see 1994 crime bill and Kamala keeping innocent people on death row.

It's funny. I went to Google Willie Brown just because i was curious about what years he was mayor of SF, and I get Big Headline "hits" from every "mainstream" news source, as if this stupid shite is one of the biggest stories in the world at the moment.

Trump does this all the time. He'll go on about something really trivial, embellish, conflate or mischaracterize the issue. The media latches on and meanwhile amongst the outrage of trivial matters he will casually mention something significant like, "I'm meeting with Kim Jong Un next week" toppling decades of State Department policies.

But they latch on to the insignificant stuff.

He could say he’s been to Mars…IDGAF. All I know is gas was half what it is now and groceries half what they are now. My financial life was much better under his Presidency. He could have a dick growing out of his forehead and I would not care.

Now answer my question and don’t lie, Is your life better now?

There appears to have been more all-hands-onboard frantic overnight "in-depth investigation" into this "story" than there has been on anything Kamala has done or said in the past 6 months.

There’s definitely more interest in the helicopter story than whether Joe Biden has had dementia for 4+ years.

What do you mean eyes ears and everyone else? Willy Brown could just as easily be lying. He lies all the time.

Then this whole thread is bullshite. You’re straight admitting that you didn’t start it from any objective premise.

The genius of Trump is missed in this whole deal.

Trump just put this BJ Kamala performed back in the spotlight and the Dems don’t even realize they are perpetuating it.

A reality show where the Dem candidate is installed?

Where the President is forced to step aside?

It’s pretty wild to watch.

Then it’s gets more interesting.

The most radical left ticket in the history of the US.

It’s absurd like a reality TV show for sure. So much cringe.

Okay let’s say Trump lied or embellished. So what, he wouldn’t be the first politician to lie or embellish. It’s reasonable to expect that a politician, left or right, will lie.

In selecting whom to vote for, I evaluate policies and impact to my selfish pocketbook. By that measure, aside from the lies and mean tweets, the choice in this election is clear.

By the nature of your question, are you asserting that Biden, Harris or Walz has never lied?

I think we have political leaders that live in their own fantasy world ...and lying is just as natural as breathing - especially when the lie gets applause from a crowd.

It should be called out and we should require more from our employees but...we don't

That said there are a couple of differences

"This is the gun I carried into war."..well no and no because he didn't go to "war" but he also using that lie to drive policy. And this is an easily verifiable lie

Helicopter with Willie Brown"...this isn't affecting my life. ...not being used to drive policy
There's at least 3;people that are involved in this. One says it happened, one says it didn't and no word from the pilot. So until the latter breaks the tie...who's lying Donald or Willie?

I just think Trump supporters love it when he rifs like this. That and stuff like the comparisons with MLK.

It's just kind of funny/crazy and it pisses the libs off. Mission accomplished.

I personally think he'd get more votes out of just talking bad Dem policy, but what's the fun in that?

Plus, people have already decided.

dems are way too team dem oriented to ever realize this.

TD Link

OP, For argument sake, let's say DJT lied...misrermembered, whatever. what means more to you - a story with incorrect details, or a guy that steals tax dollars?

When Kamala won't do an interview or state her policy the media can only latch onto and attack everything Trump says. He did an hour long interview yesterday that covered his entire platform and they grabbed onto one sentence where he confused Jerry Brown with Willie Brown from 20+ years ago. People are really starting to realize how bad this Harris/Walz pairing is. The Democrats just need to hope she can help save some Liberal candidates down the ballot.

There are really only two answers. One, you believe he is telling the truth and your eyes and ears and everyone else is lying. Two, you know he's lying, but you don't care for whatever reason. So, which is it?

I say this as someone who is not particularly a Trump supporter: Trump just says whatever comes to mind.

Now, that is terrible in the sense that you want a president who is thoughtful and deliberative.

But in a weird way, it comes across as more "honest" in the specific sense that it isn't a scripted performance or planned legalese ala Clinton: "it depends what the meaning of 'is' is."

Or, as others have said, you know not to take him literally, but you take him seriously.

Again, it's refreshing in a weird way.
