Many voters in our state follow the D or the R as a 'brand' or 'symbol' and not the nuisances behind them. Many on this board follow friends or relatives who are running for something that have implications beyond a few yard signs and a happy face.

I would like to try to make an informed voting decision.

I'm laughing at you for taking the position you have on Edwards. I don't want to appoint a candidate and certainly don't want you to appoint one.

ok. I don't see too many people having a problem with your question...only your conclusion that it outweighs the fact that Edwards is an obviously corrupt convicted felon.

Neo-Con? What makes you say this? Actually curious on his negatives.

He's a big time war hawk who favors increased sentencing for non-violent, drug-related offenses. I'd prefer someone who favored decriminalization of marijuana (like McCullough) over someone who wants to increase mandatory minimums on possession charges.

Gotcha, I hadn't heard any war hawk messages and there wasn't much foreign policy info on his campaign site.

The issue is not my vote but the relative educational experience of another candidate.

It appears that many are afraid to address the fact that this candidate apparently did not finish college. I think that's a big deal. You may not. As the employer (voter) it matters to me. Why does it not matter to you?

Definite troll...I think anyone with a heartbeat and no criminal record would be preferable to a known, convicted criminal and politician known for his corruption. But that's just me!

What about a known pedarist that got off on a technicality.

Too bad because you missed the good stuff.

You can go back and read it, if you can, but I don't have the time nor the crayons to explain it to you.

Bottom line is that a college degree, like it or not, is pretty much an essential requirement in today's society.

Calling me an idiot is not persuasive in any way.

You're voting for a known criminal a corrupt politician, a scumbag and making a big deal over the lack of a college degree. You are a verifiable idiot. Or you're EWE.

Like I said, if you read the whole thing, I have an open mind as to whom I am voting for. It's not just EWE.

But, you obviously didn't read the whole thing.

Even most fast-food manager jobs require a college degree. Perhaps this is why. Reading, and comprehension, are a valuable things.

Why not vote for this Democrat- seems congenial, graduated college, not one of the most despicable felons in Louisiana history.

We aren't criticizing you for your judging of his lack of a college degree.

We are criticizing you for even considering to vote for a crook over someone who doesn't have a college degree.

Hell, I'm criticizing you for considering EWE over the dirty dish you have in your sink.

I think that's fair. As a result, like I said, I am reconsidering my EWE vote.

I can take criticism for my (under re-consideration) choice. It's only fair. If I can dish it out, I have to be able to take it.

But the whole thread got diverted from the college thing to the EWE thing which is unfortunate, or perhaps intentional.

I did and it only showcased what a goddamned idiot you still are.

Just one example, Scott Walker was elected governor of Wisconsin and is cruising to a second term without a college degree.

There are blue collar workers making five-six figure money and that's way more than a poor broke dick working at Starbucks with an undervalued, worthless and over saturated college degree.

Wisconsin? Scott Walker? Seriously?

This is the 8,000 job boy wonder? The same guy who got the &$@? beat out of him tonight by his opponent in a debate?

Ummmm .... Ok. And you are seriously arguing that college is not necessary.

You must be one of those no vaccine, barefoot women in the kitchen, no A/C, college is too liberal, ride in a buggy, no electricity, types.

Good luck with that. And your career. Maybe you could move to Wisconsin and get one of those 8,000 jobs? As long as a college degree is not required!

quite bizarre that you pose as having an open mind and opinion "under reconstruction," yet seem to have a peculiar fixation on the lack of a college degree of a single candidate, when it has been pointed out that a number of viable candidates all posses no criminal record AND college degrees.

i stand by my earlier accusation
