Edwards was convicted of crimes after leaving office, not stealing from constituents.
That doesn't even get into the other instances where they tried but failed to convict him.
That is something they teach in basic LA history courses.

Based on my experience with internet message boards, that's a really, really, low standard.

So, back to the point.
If Graves is elected, are we electing a college-educated Congressman, or a drop-out?

The key question should be: does he have the best interests of his constituents at heart?
If he's elected and does, all the rest is academic (no pun intended). If he doesn't, he'll be voted out in two years.
We've had Ivy Leaguers running things in Washington for decades. Look how well THAT'S worked out.

From reading other posts it appears you would be electing a common sense congressman.

I have no idea what his education level is. Chances are that if he does not have it on his website he probably does not have a college degree. I'm betting you already knew that.
FTR - I'm voting for Rufus Craig in the primary and then anyone that is not named Edwards in the runoff.

Thank you.

OP raises an interesting point, no reason to vote for the criminal Edwards, but why vote for a non-college graduate who it seems only got his prestigious government jobs because his father owns a company that makes nearly 50 million dollars a year.
It seems there are two other Democrats and like eight other Republicans and a Libertarian who are more deserving of a vote.

I've been disenfranchised by being gerrymandered into the 2nd District. Samuel Davenport (L) will likely get my vote though.

I am not that guy. I don't Tweet. I had no idea about Graves' education, had heard, but wanted to find out.
Seems like it's kind of a big deal, at least to me. That, and the Jindal connection are not good indications. I think the ability to stay in school and finish it says something good about a person.

Then you should be a huge fan of Bobby Jindal.

what about the ability to stay out of jail?

I think that no candidate other than Edwin Edwards has had a problem with jail. Is this correct?
