Tell us specifically, please: Did she execute a general power of attorney or a specific poa? If specific, list what rights were given up.

Based on reporting, it sounds specific relating to this estate battle in court. She doesn’t lose her right to participate in that proceeding, but she has given her daughter the right to act as her agent on her behalf.
we don't know. Kind of typical for the board contrarians to scream and shout without actual facts or evidence.

Huh? We didn’t make the claim to begin with

Well, his questions were utterly-irrelevant nonsense, which is why I ignored them. None of them matter to the point raised in the OP, not in the slightest.

General or limited, a PoA just DOES NOT constitute proof of NCM. Sure, the reporting (where it addresses the matter) says or implies that it was a limited PoA, but IF the PoA WAS general, it is no different than the PoA that a dozen different posters have said is held by their spouses. The entire premise of the questions was stupid.

He was just looking for something to "prove" that there was some inconsequential fact that you or I did not "know." His responsive post was 100% on-script.

Her husband has been her bagman for years, its glorious the kids are now fighting each other over the scraps of the estate, visions of hunter.....never trust your bagman...or their heirs, this is glorious, hope she is lucid enough to enjoy the "fruits" of her devious ways.

I've never seen that term USED to describe a person who has never voted for even one Democrat in a national election.

You people must use the term differently than we use it in Texas.

You can come in and sound smart and all about who/when to execute a POA, but tell us if you truly think a 90 year person giving a POA to some one should be in charge of anything?

What keeps Joe Biden executing a POA to Hunter, under you definition?

And, in point of fact, it was proven that it is typical of you to bloviate on things you know absolutely nothing about and you do it over and over in every single thread because that is the type of obnoxious person you are.

Now if there are a dozen husbands that have indicated in this thread they gave their spouse a general power of attorney, given the 50% divorce rate in this country, they have accepted very very bad legal advice.

At least, a better argument that should have been made by you, claiming to be this all knowing lawyer, is that a power of attorney executed by somebody NCM is invalid for all actions, but that would require an actual legal thought on your behalf rather than just spewing your typical garbage

Is DiFi competent at this point? I do not know

That is a lie. If you are not lying, then seek out a video of her committee “vote” on the appropriations bill from last week. Then reevaluate your position on whether we just don’t know whether she’s competent.

She’s an elected official that had to give up powers for herself.

You're an imbecile.

If a principal grants another power of attorney, the principal allows another to act on his/her behalf, but the principal retains the power to act on his/her own behalf.
