Then you'll have progressives. Trump cannot work the aisles of his own party.

You need to unite the right before you destroy the left.

That gap has closed significantly since and it will only continue that trend.

Eventually, the hardcore cultists are going to have to decide if they care more about this country or Trump's ego.

I'm pretty sure MAGA Republicans are sophisticated enough to realize Trump policies are what is important. Not Trump ego.

Anyone who didn’t see this coming is an idiot. I’ve said this since 2020. Why the Trump/DeSantis 2024 fight you nerds kept trying to push and fall for was so stupid.

I would take Ron as DJT's VP too.

Dream scenario. Trump unites party by bringing in Ron as VP and letting him help run things and sets up for Ron to get 8 years at the helm later. Basically 12 years of DeSantis at the helm. Would greatly steady this country and give some much needed leadership and poise. D

No more globalist Republicans for me ever again.

I will just leave the race blank like I did in '08 & '12.

But these threads are so much fun. We've had about a dozen of them in the past couple of months and they all go 15-20 pages.

Ron isn’t an idiot.

That is a blackhole of a position and would doom him forever

Trump is the ONLY president since Truman who put his country first.

You are a globalist, you would vote for and probably already have voted for Romney.

Trump's South Carolina donors vet DeSantis

There was an article in a SC newspaper that point blank said the donors were donating to Ron as Governor but vetting him for up and coming POTUS. Trump had first dibbs.

Ron remained silent as Ed Rollins and Karl Rove pushed Ready for Ron.

I still think either could run but I don't think The GOP big E club will allow Trump anywhere near the WH. Because they know he would enact Schedule F on day one.

The only other one that could possibly enact Schedule F would be maybe Kari Lake, definitely Rand Paul, or a Peter Thiel, Ric Grenell billionaire type with frick you money. But Kari Lake is who the dems fear. We need a female and the first gay VP, Ric?

If Trump were to have not led on he was NOT running, he would be a lameduck for midterms. I think he deserves to retire, golf, not be harassed, and be a remote economic advisor with Rand as Speaker?

His reputation will be cleared up if someone runs that comes in dark horse and enacts Schedule F.

DC needs cleaned up immediately and not more dog and pony shows from Mccarthy and the Big E controlling their guy.

Baseless and based on your TDS.

It's almost a certainty that Trump will outperform Biden's tenure. And, DeSantis will literally be able to play both sides (ally of Trump and a return to less polarizing figure).

DeSantis himself disagrees with you.
