Looks like a bunch of big government over reach into civil liberties and lowering the bar for education in Florida. I guess if you want less freedom and stupid kids- it’s a great win!

The real issue is how he handles Gavin Newsome. Because Gavin is already talking major shite about him and Abbott.
People are projecting Newsome takes Biden's slot for 2024.

By bringing back the people who split their tickets in the last 2 elections. There are lots of people who are more in tune with the GOP policy wise, but their dislike of Trump overrides that.

I mean, DeSantis went to California and trashed Gavin on his home turf and he's not even declared.
Beyond that, it's a case of not worrying much about Newsome until he proves he's worth worrying about. DeSantis wants the FL vs. CA fight all day long. I'm sure Abbott and DeSantis are overflowing with ready-made retorts about Californians fleeing Newsome policies for FL/TX.
