Intent is a pretty tricky matter. You trying to persuade a judge or jury that you’re familiar with the inner thinking of the accused. That basically, you’re a mind reader. I know, I get that there is sometimes evidence introduced in an effort to corroborate the claim of intent, and sure it completely possible to make a good case for it and it works successfully.

But unless I’m shitting the bed with my interpretation of your offerings, what I’m seeing is a very umm, silly is what comes to mind. A silly effort. Something you’d see from a public defender who went to Southern. I kid about that last part. That would be me, actually. Regardless, it still seems quite a silly move.
