Elvis hasn’t read the curriculum either.

You should tell all the black people involved in writing it how offended you are.

Which is why Trump wants no part of a debate.

That was a good answer. It seemed a little staged.

I think the Desantis campaign took this more serious than it needed to be taken and overreacted a bit.

It's ironic that this was all orchestrated by Team Trump to create a racial controversy for DeSantis. Rather than supporting a conservative undoing years of ideological corruption of K-12, Trump's people did this.

Yep. Look at the response from the members who used to like a fighter.

Yes, and I’ll just add that in La., sometimes slaves were “allowed” to use those skills to make a little money on the side. Some even saved to buy a family member’s freedom. It wasn’t a frequent occurrence, and when they did it, it was probably done on Sundays when they had off time.

Yeah. Totally bro. This is the first time the media tried a gotcha on him so he had to stage it.

Nothing to take seriously

Kamala flew to Jacksonville just to start this attack.

Now the membership is mad.

Too funny.

You might be an up and coming leader like Donalds, but you end up being a merely a black face for Team Trump to exploit in trying to create a mini scandal for a rival (by attacking an unprecedented conservative educational effort, no less). They're just disgusting folks.

He will use up and destroy any conservative that might gain popularity as long as he has any sort of hold on this party until it dies.

I will not vote for the kamikaze mission to continue.

He could just refer them to the black man that wrote that curriculum....but this was more fun.

He did bring up Dr Allen by name. Also loved the "Post Bellum" verbiage. One thing about DeSantis is when he gets into these discussions he flips the switch into Harvard lawyer mode and breaks out the vocabulary and ferocious arguments where he is exercising his vocabulary. Then when he talks to other groups he slows down and tries not to sound so academic.

He's going to continue to humiliate these people because he has at least 50 IQ points on them.

There are many clips of DeSantis making reporters look like fools. It is what he is good at. Definitely better than Trump at explaining positions. All Trump does, if I remember correctly, is say "fake news".

Good response.

As someone only remotely aware of the narrative around this curriculum drama, felt like it gave the important pieces for context and clarity.
