An open-handed slap justifies deadly force in hanks world

quote:A) As Bass said, you seem to assume the "assault" from Keltner happened ex nihilo.
Have you forgotten the prior assault on Dolloff by Keltner.
B) More importantly you seem to disregard the fact Keltner had disengaged and retreated.

“He hit him hard enough to knock his glasses and hat off”
Yeah... so my 5 month old cousin did the same thing last week.... guess he’s stronger than he realizes.

Was he legally carrying concealed with a permit? If he was, he should have known that THE VERY LAST THING he should be doing is involving himself in a situation like this.
At any rate, he'll have a hard time convincing anyone that this was a case of the gravest extreme. He put himself there.

Another tell is the slap didn't displace Dolloff at all. He was standing in virtually the same spot as he drew and fired. Meanwhile, Keltner retreated.

It’s a pejorative and you know it.
Eh. I give random people names all the time.
Trailer park Tammy. Big boy bubba. Tireek the thug, fat frick frank, etc.

Everyone you don’t know...you call them Bubba?
Lol
This should be good.

I give pretty much everyone that catches my eye a name
Usually in alliteration as seen above
I take it that’s not normal internal monologue shite eh?

You've already said the shooter instigated touching the victim first and you say the victim slapped him back in retaliation. You are wallowing in your own argument.

His hand is reaching forward across the body of the victim. There is no reason for it to be that far forward. None. That is no speculation on my part.

It is a nickname for a goid ol’ boy. Keltner looked the part. You people go out of your way to look for insults where they do not exist. Who else does that?

Victim and assailant tend to work quite well.

This picture adds much to the story.
It looks like maybe the reporter said something that annoyed Keltner, Dolloff stepped between them, and Keltner hit him for it.

Stepped between them and laid his hands on him. You missed that part.

It adds a lot of detail to the story.
Does not permit the assailant to use deadly force. Even if he was assaulted by the victim.

It DOES certainly seem to negate the notion that Dolloff was attempting to take the gas sprayer from Keltner. He DID seem to put his hands on Keltner, in the sense of "woah, slow down buddy."
It looks like maybe he got hit for trying to stop a confrontation between Keltner and the reporter, and things went downhill from there.

Dolloff, his LLC, Pinkerton and 9News are all in for a very unpleasant 2021.
