Even Top Ramen is over $.40 a pack.

Hank, just like that special teeth cleaning Father McGillicutty gave you in your youth, Chef Boyardee is not as good as you remember.

Friend, you can disagree with my political views all day. I would enjoy discussing them and contrasting them with yours. It is the reason that forums such as this EXIST.

Those who have been paying attention started doing this last summer at the very least.

No thanks! I'd rather vote Republican and have steak for dinner.

You could get a box at the A&P
That was the first chain supermarket in New Iberia in the 50s. It was the only business with a soft drink machine.
The 'and' was never pronounced by Cajuns. It was:
'I gotta go to the A.P. Stow.'

Save some money and get Great Value.
I'm stocking up on dried beans, BarS weenies and ketchup packets from fast food places for homemade beenie weenies.

Democrats are in big trouble due to Republican-driven narratives on inflation, gas prices and crime.
So you have a commie crat politician telling us to eat nasty canned food and then you have PMSDNC telling us that the inflation is a mere Republican narrative?
Liars always have a hard time keeping their story straight!

Canned foods are notorious for salt content. I wanted to make a tuna salad and checked out the varieties of canned tuna. I'm a label reader and was looking for lower sodium. I found one with ZERO sodium.
That's not possible. So I looked at the label more carefully.
'Made in China.'
They don't have to tell the truth in China.

It’s good for our republic when Marxists give out “let them eat cake” advice.

Oh are you talking Kraft?
Of course!!!!
I can skrimp on A LOT of things, but Mac & Cheese is not one of them.
A&P had the Kraft Mac&Cheese for $.49 back in the day.
There was also the $.19 Hamburger stand down Highland!

BarS weenies
I know it's cheap stuff, the cheapest. I tell you though, Bar S ( Sigma Company) has very clean facilities, very tight quality control, and their system is streamlined for speed of processing.
I was on a contract with them, hauling their stuff for a couple of years. Very impressed with their cleanliness and efficiency. Not afraid to buy anything they sell.
Oh, and I really like their garlic bologna on my George Foreman grill for a sandwich.
