While the overall number of votes cast is up, the voter turnout rate for 2026 still lags behind both the 2022 and 2018 midterms, which saw a 69% and 79% voter turnout rate, respectively. In 2026, the preliminary voter turnout rate was 63%.

Indies flipped, republicans had lower % of voters turnout.

That is how bad Trump was/is, he will go down as one of the worse president in history.

He actually will….
Just too many people have short term memories and don’t realize what he was doing

Conspiracy theories?

*biden with 81 million Legitimate Votes in 2020?
If these numbers are correct and the D's gained 20 million from 2022 mid-term, why did Florida, Louisiana, Tennessee, etc., not have the same results? Please explain.

Texas was more Red than Louisiana.
Nothing to see here. Just accept it and move on?

You have to really frick things up for that many people to vote against you.

Inflation is up 3.7%. The market is up 14% YTD. If you think that is fricking things up that is sad. Everyone should ecstatic with this economy.

“Projected” buts let’s just run with this as if it isn’t.

The low propensity, unaffiliated voters and a whole lot more that helped put Trump over the top went back to their natural home with the Dems. I’ve been telling you guys that. You can stop blaming principled conservatives now.

Dems upped by 20MM.

But how many of those were actually qualified to vote, or who voted more than once in multiple states?

They all came from across the border....

yet it is amazing how the DEM numbers can fluctuate as needed!

I will go to the grave believing the 2020 election was STOLEN! The DEMS absolutely used Covid and the mail-ballot dump to win!

Now, it would not phase me if they continue some type of voting corruption.....and the REPS just sit there. TRUMP will fight them, but not the balance of the party!

Its a worse economy than the one Biden left him with. Thats almost impossible to accomplish.

Job growth has been underwhelming

At least half of the country doesn't give a frick about the stock market because it doesn't help them

So that's about half of the eligible voters under 30 who traditionally don't vote. What's your point?

Immigrants received Driver’s Licenses, and voter registration along with it in many States.

Like the Titanic, we see the threat but given the dynamics, many lose a lot of innocents in the collision. What else is new in the historical record.

In before any half-arsed allegations of Cheating or The Steal:

How's about the very unsexy, uncontroversial reality that independents overwhelmingly rebuked Trump and Trump policies this cycle, and voted Democratic; more than just a few Republicans rebuked Trump and his policies, and voted Democratic; and Democrats in particular were motivated to rebuke Trump and his policies, particularly the ill-advised war.
