Nah. I'd rather watch you melt over something Trump said. Then melt harder while you try and interpret it.

I think they're scared of pissing off 66% or more of their members who see Castile as a lawbreaker and not worthy of defense.

Probably. Some people are just stupid.

All I am saying is to me that statement tells me he didn't know where the gun was and got scared when he was reaching even though he never saw anything.

There you go again. There is no evidence to support your assertion that "he never saw anything" at the time of the shoot. His statement reflects he did not see it at first...until evidence suggests he did see it.

If you're going to make up facts, our conversation is over.

Until that gun is in view, or secured, the officers lives are in imminent danger

In the United States of America, we have the right under the 2nd amendment to own and carry firearms. If you believe you're life is imminent danger from simply being near a firearm, this probably isn't the place for you and you sure as shite shouldn't be a police officer.

I watched that video fully expecting to be on the side of law enforcement. frick THAT. I can't believe what I just saw. That man had no time to follow any instructions before he was executed.

Not to mention he fired his weapon in the direction of an unarmed woman and child.

In fact I wish all people of color stop trusting the police and then maybe things will change since over 1/3 of this country are not white. Then maybe the cops will start to do things differently.

I hope you meet up with a black cop who whips your arse so hard you end up in the hospital and he ends up with a commendation.

Stop trying to use these dumbass examples- potsie with kid in tow, Alton Sterling and Michael Brown as your poster children. I would be livid if someone used these guys as representation for me or mine. Stick with the guy who was running away and got shot- there's actual valid reasoning there to be pissed.

Yep, since cops are extremely important in communist government.

It's common sense. If a person has any brains, they act differently around people they know are armed. It is a threat to your life.

We've all seen the videos showing how fast the situation can turn deadly. There is no reason an officer should give a person the benefit of doubt, when that very act could cost them their lives. Anyone with two brain cells should know not to put an officer in that position.

Pretending this isn't a questionable shoot because Castile was smoking pot isn't your strongest argument.

Please scrub the "protect and serve" off your car. Or add "ourseffs" to the end. Either one.

Thats pretty fricked up.

There needs to be a complete overhaul on law enforcement in our country.

That's true. The officer said he didn't know where the gun was, however.

Until he did see it, as reflected in the same quote, but in the portion you selectively omitted.

Check your bias.

Just to be clear, I haven't heard any quote from him saying he actually saw it. Have you? Not trying to be a dick here, but I don't think I have made up anything so far.

Him saying he told Castile not to reach for it is not the same thing as him claiming to see it. He could have thought he was reaching for it when he didn't know where it was.

It may be questionable but the rule of thumb in self-defense shootings is a reasonable fear for your life or grave bodily harm. As long as the officer could justify that position (I think he has) then you just have to chalk it up to a bad situation with a bad result. It happens with civilians, too.

Come on man. I am about as far from a liberal as you'll ever see. Ask me what I think about the second amendment.
