Worse part of this is seeing the daughter, seemingly confused, run into the arms of the agency that slaughtered her dad.

I think that's the double edged sword here. You can't tell what was going on. Are you willing to send a cop to jail based off of that video and the testimony of (1) the GF, (2) the daughter (maybe?), (3) the shooter (if he testified) and (4) the other officer.
The jury said no. I'm not sure without the testimony how I would have voted.

When a gun is involved with the PD; I would say yes.
I blame parenting on this. You should teach your kids to comply with officers. Not hate them.
It's ingrained in their culture. This won't change until their culture changes. Where Gang banging is condoned.

It can be. You've got to remember cops are people too. They are just as scared out there as the next guy. He says he thought the guy was going for a gun and was going to kill him. That's a crazy arse scary situation for anyone.
Always comply with the police and do exactly what they say. Have your lawyer argue later in court.
