I'm in Texas and I would be shocked if it was that low in this state. They are everywhere and I encounter several just about every day.

CA politicians appear to be dependent illegals for their livelihood more than most people realize.

Can that be true? Almost 2 million!!

Id bet there are 2 million in the LA area alone. Not including San Diego or north and central Cal.

There's no way it is that low.

I mean - let's be logical about it. The very, very "low" estimate is in the range of 10m for the nation. If that's true, roughly 1/3 would be in CA and another 1/3 in TX.

The "high" estimate is in the mid-20s to as much as 30. So, a reasonable estimate for CA and TX would be, roughly, 3 to 8 million.

2 million isn't crazy "high" - it's "I'd be shocked if it was that low."

I’d be more curious as to how many illegitimate extra representatives they have in the US House based on this. Of course that’d never be brought to light since the Democratic Party would lose power.

Off by 20-25 percentage points at least. The average even in Louisiana, Mississippi or Alabama is 10% plus

That's bullshite! I lived in Southern California and I can tell you it's way more than what Issa claims. Maybe in his neighborhood it's 5% but it's crazy parts of LA you feel like you are in Mexico not to mention the Russians, Chicoms and the one NO ONE TALKS ABOUT the Armenians.

Maybe pre-Covid. Way higher after great migration during Covid.
