The anti-Trumpers all believe that somehow 'elections' and votes are what will determine the future of this Nation. People like her put their heads in the sand and deny that the electoral process is corrupt as they believe that such a denial (fraud to take Trump out) is equivalent to wearing a mask for the sake of our 'Government'. All hail Government; even if it is ten times more corrupt than Trump ever was.
Because of people like Perino, cred in system honest is lost and the implied social contract abridged. I.e., division and antipathy on a large scale. Votes won't change that. The Dems have already gone (burning cities) and all that is left is for the Right to lose enough that they fight fire with fire.
Democracy - "mob rule" - will NOT determine the future. Never does on the big stuff.

She was a bad press secretary who allowed the media to dominate a narrative with little or poor pushback from her. She’s a horrible political analyst too, usually wrong on her calls and advice.
She longs to sit at the big kids table with the media. I still remember her posting like a gleeful, excited teenage girl at being invited to Obama’s media event and Zuckerberg’s media event.
She’s a loyal foot soldier of the Bush wing and GOPe though so she will always be in the picture somewhat.
