people criticizing the police have apparently never been told that if they let someone walk and that person goes on a killing spree (perhaps on drugs), the cops are liable. the dept is liable for training the cops to let suspects walk. blm people are just not thinking this through. moreover, how dumb do you have to be to resist arrest knowing that everyone is aware, especially police, your ethnicity is vastly more prone to violent crime.

No, the limited view I was privy to, showed a disdain for the officers, and he was about to either show them his big arse gun (and they'd run), or shoot them.

Initial witness reports are coming in saying the guy was stopping a fight between 2 black women when police showed up. Not sure how true it is, just what I’m seeing online.

I don't think that's true. The supreme court has ruled multiple times police do not have a duty to act.

Dude could have complied, and went to jail for whatever was going on there, or he could refuse to comply, make himself a threat, get himself shot and possibly killed, and be the next leftist martyr, having politicians attend his many funerals, and lionizing him as a racial injustice victim.
