The Crusades achieved next to nothing outside of the first one and nearly bankrupted Europe so I don’t know what Wikipedia article you learned history from but it isn’t accurate. They besieged Constantinople during the 4th crusade nearly destroying it.

All I know is the battle for the future of the United States (if it’s to remain anything at all like its late 20th century peak) is not on the battlefield but in the voting booth and immigration policy.

Correct. It's suicidal empathy. I saw an interesting theory on why this happens too. It's a product of abortion and birth control coupled with women being in the work force. With fewer women being at home raising children as biology intended women put their maternal instincts towards social issues instead. And they're too emotional to be setting policy. This is preyed upon by the people pulling the strings. If you'll notice, the vast majority of people supporting this bullshite are women who believe that we should be kind to the people overrunning our lands.

I see Christians call for killing/oppressing Muslims, wanting to drop nukes on them and so forth daily here.
Our entire country was founded on trying to get away from Christians who behaved like this.
Just because you use government to pretend like you didn't sin doesn't change it. The most popular way people sin is by using their government. In fact, that's what the people who had Jesus killed did.
