Oh yay. A useless, expensive, overhaul that does zero to address the problem. That’ll work!!

I regularly eat at a catfish place in the damn middle of nowhere. Practically on the Shiloh battlefield. It’s rural. It’s down a narrow road. It’s old. It has gravel parking. It has old pictures on the wall. It has old confederate money in cases.

You know what else? It’s packed on lunch and dinner on weekdays. There is always a wait on the weekends with an extended wait after 4 on Friday and Saturday.

Why? The food is good. The service is good. And they don’t push tranny bullshite. That is, and will always be the formula for restaurant success. Good food… good service… no bullshite. Provide that and it will succeed.

It’s not throwing out items hanging from the ceiling and getting rid of an old picture of a person who scares current gays because they wouldn’t have been open to pride parades.

If a restaurant is failing…. Look at what is on the plate. Ask the people that have turned around Chili’s for advice on that.

Bingo. This is the cause. You echo why these customers they want back are leaving. Yet…. They stupidly do not see it right in front of their faces.

They could overhaul the food to again match old country food preparation and quality. It’s not hard. But no…. Waste company money on image and branding while serving the same cut rate crap.

Shoneys has room on the bench next to them Cracker Barrel.

Didn't this new CEO say she was hiring nothing but DEI?

Could explain the drop in quality if all the managers are DEI hires.

It's really s shame. When I was a kid, Cracker Barrel was a treat to be had on our yearly treks to the Smoky Mountains.

It won't be long and they'll be shuttering up, and be cast into the dustbin of childhood memories like Shoney's, Panchos, and Po Folks.
