A lot of the sales reps in my industry have been trying to push a lot of the radiographic AI software. It isn't ready. Not even close. At least in the OMFS sphere.

He thought he hit that one to Germany.

How the hell did Kansas City of all places get to host matches?

In all seriousness, KC is a soccer hotbed as far as places in the US goes.

True to an extent. But that area where they are going to build the stadium is pretty nice. Nascar track, MLS stadium, big shopping center, etc.
As someone who has lived on both sides of the state line over the last 30 years. I don't get the angst. It isn't like they moved to Nashville. It's literally 30 minutes west. It's still in the KC Metro. No different than when the Cowboys moved from Irving to Arlington.

Seems weird. I do them all day every day. I've got 10 more cases today for just wisdom teeth.
I've done 3 cases so far this morning.

Most are sedated. Usually with a benzodiazepine/propofol/etc

Everyone is different when it comes to post op pain. Some people are eating pizza that day, some people are pussies and cry for a week.

I would plan to do it on a Thursday or Friday so you have the weekend to recover.

Did you learn about that in your community college class, Mr. Bell?

ETA, nevermind, now I know why they would. Here’s their CEO…

Chalk up one more thing gone to shite because of liberal white women.

All of the islands are great. We go every year. We alternate each year between Maui and Kauai.

I like Maui more.

My wife likes Kauai more.

The kids like them both about the same.
Oral Surgeon. I work 3 days a week. I only do the procedures I want to do. I don’t deal with hospitals or have call. 100% private practice bliss.

Open heart surgery and organ transplants were obviously not a concept when the Gospels were written either. Do you consider either one of those "Playing God"?

My wife and I tried to have a kid for 17 years before we exhausted all fertility options and went through IVF. 6 rounds to be exact. Insurance covers very little. We probably paid out of pocket close to $250k. It was a brutal process. 5 rounds where nothing even made it far enough along to implant. I think it was 55 eggs in total and none even made it far enough to genetic test. We switched on round 6 to a Dr in Scottsdale,AZ. 1 made it far enough to test. On an A-F grading scale, it was a C- The Dr said he wouldn’t recommend implanting it due to the low probability of survival, but if we wanted to move forward we could.

We now have a happy, healthy 19 month old baby girl who has redefined my concept of love and grace and humility. Is IVF a sin? I’m not sure. I do know that the amount of love this little girl has created and the understanding I now have of unconditional love has completely transformed my walk with the Lord.

Funny you say that. Just a few weeks ago I removed 10 implants in the upper jaw that were placed in Costa Rica by a provider that was well researched. The implants were not titanium, not sure what metal they actually were. They were placed very poorly ( into the maxillary sinus without an accompanying graft, not fully inside the upper jaw bone, etc).

It’s not that you can’t get good work done there. I’ve seen it. But if there is any type of even minor complications, who is the expected to manage it if you have already come home?
A lot of people think he is Asian. But in fact, he’s German.
I pull out 4-8 sets of wisdom teeth each day.

Do what they tell you to do post op. Take the meds you are supposed to take.

Most young people do really well. That is why we recommend having them out as a teenager vs an adult. They tolerate the procedure much better, are healthier in general, and heal quicker.
