It's no secret the left has moved drastically more left in the past decade.

The Far Left has moved drastically to the far left due to polarization efforts that also apply to Patriots. That's why "whataboutism" has become such a callsign for both sides, because they are mirroring each other.

The middle has moved left at the standard pace that society has typically offered. Kids are coming off a generation of boring and moving into being weird. Then weird will become weird again and boring-normal will become in. The middle hasn't really moved much at all, they've just been largely left behind by the people with loudspeakers yelling hyperbole to try to create fear that leads to polarization.

quote:

I don't see how polarity helps the GOP moving forward.

That entirely depends on if you think Trumpism can remain within the GOP long-term. Patriots think that they can redefine words like "conservative" in the mold of Trump's economic Leftism and popularist social conservatism to then redefine "GOP".

If Trumpism remains a separate animal, the GOP can survive by being what it's been for 40 years. It will probably just win fewer elections because Patriots would rather lose (and claim conspiracies led to the loss) than win, long term. They will rally around the outlier that was 2016 like it was the "new normal" for decades.

quote:

I'm just saying having a few differing theories in a party shouldn't be an issue

This requires the minority party to (1) accept they are the minority and (2) accept their influence is limited.

Patriots have convinced themselves they are the majority, so they refuse to accept the 2 points above and would rather fight the majority. THAT creates a situation worse than what you see with the modern Leftism, because the minority party is demanding ideological purity. Schiff and Talib will still vote in line when the DEMs need it. Patriots will not.

The simpleton misinterpretation of me posting that is pretty funny.

I don't give a shite and never gave a shite about all of my TD awards. I didn't nominate myself or campaign. The same people having meltdowns about me today for remaining the same are the ones who nominated and voted for me.

I don't and never did give a shite about that. They did. Now they are literally melting down at the same stuff they used to support.

This is a moment where self reflection is needed.

This is my line of thought exactly. I think there is room for "Trumpism", I think a level of it has shown to be necessary. For some on here to just hate Desantis because he is a threat (idgaf about your polls, Trump wouldn't be bashing him if he wasn't a viable threat.) I tend to like Trump and Desantis way more than what's going on currently, that is what gets lost in this bickering between the two.

Going back to the voting records for the GOP, the GOP needs to figure out that although they can disagree, they need to stick together because whatever it is HAS to be better than what the Dems want to do. The problem is McConnell and the like haven't been much better lately. His statement about supporting Ukraine being the number one thing right now is insanity. I don't think Desantis likes him much either. The Paul Ryan, Romney, Flake neocons need to be out.

A reporter asked Trump if he would drop out of the race if he was indicted. He said no. Maybe they can raid him with a dive team and FBI?

Try to JFK him but he has his own security and has been an OCDer with food testers and McDonalds for awhile.

Maybe they can sneak in a white supremacist into his same county or rustle up Stormi? Or how about get Paul Ryan to say nothing but OMB and stomp his feet?

His taxes thats it, release his taxes for the third time! Put his CFO in jail for made up process crimes?

Call him a super meany peeny racist? Send bird doggers to his rally? Spy on him? Say he has the nuke codes in his ex-wives coffin and was selling them to get rich?

This should surprise no one. It's how our world works. It takes someone with extremely high morals to resist the money. Those of high moral character who do resist are ostracized.

Lake looks like she smokes 3 packs of Marlboro Reds per day. And her hair is cut and styled like an 80 year old granny. What is up with her? A dude at work told me she is mulatto or quadroon. Is that true?

how on earth do you think she smokes marlboros? very few women can cut their hair like that and be as attractive as Kari. most woman I know who have the beautiful face to cut their hair that short... are women who think it is silly and or don't have any reason nor want to primp.

and who cares what her ancestry is? half black half white-half indian, half you are a racist or what? who cares--- really...

Meh. Performative outrage. She's auditioning for being Trump's VP. Continuing to be in the spotlight gives her the platform to make a run at it.

Of course not, unless that politician is named Will Wade and is too stupid to not put several degrees of separation between them and what they are doing.
