Whenever I have called someone who was in the hospital, I call the main number and ask to speak to that person. The hospital then connects me to their room, it is as easy as that. I have even been told that they were discharged, almost exactly like the recorded call to talafreako.

PS - I actually guessed the other day that he'd had a mental breakdown, and even before the rumors started. The reason? Because this guy has had to pretend to be the polar opposite of who and what he really is ever since the general election campaign started. That has to take a mental toll on anybody.
I feel sorry for him and hope he gets some help. BUT, this dude has no right to come within a million miles of being a United States Senator.

Mental health facilities are a bit different. They are very strict on phone calls to and from patients. You have to be on the patients call list, and it’s typically just one contact person.

Yeah, the first statement - that the institution confirmed it - is a lie. But they went on to say that an employee confirmed it. That might be true, but it is a crime, so the employee will remain anonymous, and we’d have to believe whoever is reporting it.
