Until this year, I actually had no problem separating politics from college athletics... I also had no problem hunting and fishing and doing all the other "conservative" stuff...
I think whoever came up with this shite is no better than those on the left that want to label everything as one way or the other...

My dad almost never bothered watching football. It may have been on the TV, but he sure didn't schedule his weekend around it.
I'll watch, as long as there's no kneeling during the national anthem.

I think there's a ton of gray area with this, and that College football is neither conservative nor liberal. It's a hodgepodge of people who just want to watch some football and forget about politics.
I think the donors though are supporting liberal institutions and their ability to continue their goals of indoctrination

College football is a sport and a form of entertainment. It isn't liberal or conservative. There may be people involved with the game that are liberal or conservative, but the game by itself, isn't.
Conservatives need down time, too. It isn't liberal to sit on a couch and watch a game.
