Cohen liked to record his conversations with Trump.

I’m guessing a conversation where he’s being told to commit a federal crime would be one he might want to hold on too.
You’re going balls deep on this one huh?

My favorite part is “nobody ever says “we got him”, that’s just a dumb right-wing meme”.
Yet they have people in this thread saying those exact words

The better question is: Why wasn't Cohen charged with, or convicted for, lying to Congress?
He was. He plead guilty.

Except The only recording they’ve released has trump telling Cohen to make sure the payments to the girls were legal with the campaign finance laws...So....
If a tape of this magnitude actually exist and would be the end of the sitting president, don't you think it would be held until a report or indictment was released? If true it's a federal crime and obstruction of justice.

You would think some would learn but it’s the same posters from years ago posting the same shite... and believing it! I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. Do they ever learn?

I’m not claiming it’s true. It could be all BS. It is buzzfeed and dropping a story like this late in the evening seems strange.
But, if it’s true I don’t see how anyone wouldn’t think it’s a massive problem for the President.
Looking back on the confirmation hearing of the AG it’s obvious now that the Senators already knew about this.

He won’t be embarrassed. It will just be on to the new fake news story.

Wait, so not only did Trump "direct" Cohen to lie to Congress but the Trump organization vigorously documented it in email and other documents?
Since when did Donald Trump start using either texting or email?

Regardless of the legitimacy of these claims, the fact that law enforcement may be leaking to buzzfeed is sad beyond measure, and illegal.
Seriously. The sitting president, if this article is true, may have committed a federal crime and you're upset at federal agents for leaking the truth?
What can Trump do that his supporters would find him at fault?

This revelation is not the first evidence to suggest the president may have attempted to obstruct the FBI and special counsel investigations into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election.
quote:
Now the two sources have told BuzzFeed News that Cohen also told the special counsel that after the election, the president personally instructed him to lie — by claiming that negotiations ended months earlier than they actually did — in order to obscure Trump’s involvement.
If Trump instructed Cohen to lie to congress right after the election how is this obstruction? When did these instructions to lie to congress occur?
Was there an FBI investigation or special counsel at the time and for what reason....what crime?

Both are crimes

Dude, if you instruct someone to lie to Congress and it can be proven it is a federal crime. Period. It doesn't matter when it happened.

Any evidence. Seriously any at all. Any hard proof of anything at all. A smidgen of evidence if you will. Anything other than “reported that people close to the situation said multiple sauces”...
These threads make the Q thread seem rational.

If Trump instructed Cohen to lie to congress right after the election how is this obstruction?

Always like watching these threads right after big news hits to see what the Trump supporters reaction is before Limbaugh, Hannity, etal have a chance to tell them what to think. Pre-talking points threads are the best.
