She’s a fricking blonde woman in Afghanistan. Honestly I did a floating sales job in McAllen, and my predecessor was a blonde that was there for 5 months, and I thought THAT was a wildly irresponsible. This is a hundred times that. She did a damn good job. Reward good journalism when good journalism is done.

Seriously. Her reporting is a major reason people in America are actually paying attention and have a sense of the fubar in Kabul. There is no amount of money you could pay me to do what she did last few days. Glad she is out safely.
