Last Saturday Texas reported its highest single day of with 1,801 new cases, and CNN only wants to focus on a one day high instead of looking at all information. CNN doesn’t cover hospital availability, recovery numbers/trends, positive COVID test rates or any other important information that should be included when states or business are deciding to reopen or not.

For example, CNN doesn’t share that Texas continues to increase testing and has seen lower percentages of people testing positive. In April, Texas had positive test rates over 10% over a 7-day period. In May rates have been below 10% and are now trending around 5% all while more business open and daily testing increases.

The MSM continues to mislead the public by not sharing all the facts and letting people develop their own opinions.

I fully support their right to stay locked in their closets until that time, and they can support my right to carry on with my life as I was in January.

Already started a thread on the sensationist headlines and you completely missed the biggest things...

800 of the cases are from two counties with meat processing facilities
The 1800 now includes antibody tests too

a spike in cases is irrelevant. let me know when there's a spike in deaths

and that spike in cases was due to a single packing plant in El Paso....so lets keep the whole state shut down

In all fairness to CNN, it’s hard to push a false narrative without being deceptive.

This is why the left screams muh testing, it makes things look worse

Cases are irrelevant if the positives are asymptomatic or mild.

The only damn thing thats matters is hospitalizations

Most of that "jump/spike" is in Potter and Randall counties. It's because the numerous meat plants are testing everyday.

Yeah, Texas tested 330,000 people from May 1 - May 16.

They tested 330,000 in March and April combined.

More good examples of how the MSM mislead and are not helping. They also leave out a number of cases are in nursing homes as well.

Let’s get to the facts and make good decisions on how to contain this while not destroying people’s livelihood and economy. It’s is possible to save lives and livelihoods.

None of that is relevant. The only thing relevant is the constitution.

Well,

CNN fails to understand that the number of cases is irrelevant as long as we do not exceed the capacity of hospitals.

Which is a bad way to report cases. shite needs to start being date corrected to show where the peak actually was.

CNN is not concerned with news or facts or explaining to their viewers. They are concerned with headlines that match their political narrative.

It’s become part of leftist virtue signaling to act like this is AIDS. It’s ridiculous.
