CNN Numbers Guy Freaks Out Over How Democrats Have Moved From Capitalism To Marxism

Democrats are anti-American and need to be deported

We have been calling them socialists and commies for over a decade.


Why is CNN surprised? Fooled by their denials or too stupid to see clearly.

Both socialism and communism have been massive failures. The 20th century is filled with hundreds of millions of dead as a testament to its failed policies.

What's worse is that most moderate democrats and so-called "classical liberals," will just vote Blue all the way through this, hoping to "change" things. Or that it "won't be so bad," or that "it's better than voting for a republican."

I can understand self avowed socialists, it's a message that grabs hold of weak people, but lifelong Democrats that just vote blue no matter what, or vote independent, thereby voting blue by proxy, are just as much of an enemy in this case.

Looks like fundamental change in America... where'd that idea come from?

Because it's a silly stance. When talking about labor versus reward, "equality" is a highly subjective thing. No one is forcing people to purchase Teslas, order through Amazon or buy the latest iPhone. People are making those choices on their own and will continue to do so until they come to the conclusion that continuing is no longer financially viable.

The problem there is that many consumers just aren't that bright, so they line up at the nearest Apple store for the latest i-Whatever like race horses pressing against their gates instead of paying their rent.

Another problem with this is that some of it is due to ongoing and pervasive inflation. Inflation has been ruthlessly driven by Congress creating trillions upon trillions of debt, to the point where the economy has become so highly addicted to it that the marginal utility of a deficit-created Dollar is ~$0.68 when averaged over the years going back to 2008.

Pointing out the inequality gap as a problem is to be addressing the symptom rather than the core.

These comments are confusing in the way you've presented them.

You seem to be saying anger towards the rich is dangerous, but you also seem to be saying it's justified.

I think for some its just inconvent for them to have to admit their party is socialist when its time to try to win national elections.

For others they truly thought it was just a conservative talking point like the GOPe being shocked when MAGA stole their lunch money in the 2015 primary.

A lot of this inequality stance comes primarily from young adults, those who haven't yet been in the workforce long enough to reach a spot to really begin wealth accumulation without having to make sacrifices and those older folks who never really achieved much (whether due continual poor decision making or issues happening to them outside their control).

Neither of those are due to people who have become wealthy by "taking" anything from them.
