When a Progressive is approached with facts, the SOP is to immediately shout "attack", "hate speech", or throw some ism to stop the conversation. If that doesn't work, just abandon/cancel the opposition.

I guarantee almost all the questions directed at Trump will have to do with January 6th, election denial, and being a convicted felon. No way in hell do they ask Trump about the economy, foreign policy, or the border (unless the later is an insult disguised as a question where Mexico didn’t pay for the wall as he said they would).

Yep wrt to Brazille. DJT needs to face the camera squarely and put the questions to the viewers - are you better off now? grocery bills, lodgings, gas, etc. the stuff we all know. He can create his own steerage facing the camera/audience, since CNN will try to trivialize him at all cost.

If would be glorious if Trump could deftly, calmly and unequivocally expose the CNN moderators for the inevitable screw job they will try and pull, but I fear Trump won't be able to do it. That's no real knock on Trump, it would be an incredibly difficult thing for anyone to do in this forum. These people will be extremely prepared likely with people in their ear helping them in real time. And the debate format allows the moderator to control so much and come off as "I am just a neutral asking important questions, it isn't about me" so an aggressive personal attack on them will backfire. It will take extreme composure, mastery of facts, and unrelenting ability to stay on your message and not get sucked into a fight on their turf.
Trump has balls for backing up his anytime, any place, any rules bravado. Let's hope he can deliver.

They asked Trump to do a debate with absurd rules thinking that he will say "Hello no" - It backfired. Trump immediately said yes without complaining about it. They did not expect him to say yes.
