Those are the two choices for all but a very, very small percentage of people who may have a physical deformity.

And that is the whole part of this cis thing. They are trying to turn it around and brand that label onto the normals. They’ve come up with some twisted academic definition, so that if anyone tries to push back they can just say that they don’t understand, they’re not smart enough to keep up with the current language.
