Pretty sure his career is over.

Wait for (or skip to) the end.

Can’t yoh just tell us what he did? I haven’t watched MTV is 20 years and things have gone pretty well for me in the interim. Don’t really want to risk it.

I’m guessing this is related to his advice about “learning to pray” and “accepts we were designed to be imperfect so accept grace because it was, like the freedoms we enjoy, paid for in someone else’s blood.”

Yeah. I think one of the most bankable stars is not going to become less bankable because of some positive comments elicited a bunch of cheers and applause at the MTV movie awards.

Those last few were pretty good, except the poop at a party part. They were pretty reasonable, so the left will be outraged, but oh well; that’s like saying water is wet....

Wow, that was quite refreshing. I was expecting all 9 rules to be about Trump and how you shouldn't vote Republican or some other nonsense.

It’s a YouTube link. It won’t give you cooties and you can skip to the end.

As for those of you noting that he was actually applauded, the OP was tongue-in-cheek. Even so, it was not a overly enthusiastic reception, compared to, say, DeNiro.

For a second I thought Pratt said he was pro Trump or told all the far left idiots to piss off. All he did was talk about God nice job being a lying shithead OP

Said we have a soul, God is real, learn to pray, and alluded to Jesus.

Good for him.

I'm confused.

He was applauded the entire time.

Everything he said made sense.

Apparantly Pratt’s views are pretty well-known because of the experience with his son’s premature birth. From wiki:
quote:

Their son, Jack, was born in August 2012, nine weeks premature and weighing only 3 pounds 12 ounces (1.7 kg). Pratt stated that the birth of his preterm son "really defined" his faith in God, after both he and his wife "prayed a lot" as they were initially afraid of the baby's prognosis.
And he just seems like a legitimately good person:

7 Times Chris Pratt Was a Real-Life Superhero
quote:

1. Giving Back: In 2017, the actor and his Jurassic World co-star Bryce Dallas Howard visited child patients at the famous Great Ormond Street Hospital and Children's Charity in London.
quote:

2. Take Two: In 2016, Pratt made a surprise visit to Seattle Children's Hospital.
quote:

3. Take Three: Earlier this week, Pratt visited kids at a Ronald McDonald House, which provides a place for families of ill children to stay to be near their hospitalized child.
quote:

4. Role Models: In 2016, Pratt and Passengers co-star Jennifer Lawrence delighted students with a surprise visit to the Ghetto Film School, an award-winning non-profit in New York City.
quote:

5. Honoring Dad: Pratt's father Daniel Pratt died at age 60 after a battle with multiple sclerosis in 2014, while the actor was while filming Jurassic World. In 2016, just before Christmas, Pratt helped break ground on the new Dan Pratt Memorial Teen Center, part of the Boys & Girls Club of Snohomish County, Washington, and donated $500,000 to the group.
quote:

6. Thank You for Your Service: In 2015, on the 14th anniversary of 9/11, Pratt posted a Facebook video about Mike Day, a former Navy SEAL who was shot 27 times during a raid in Iraq, leaving him with a brain injury and chronic pain.
quote:

7. Superdad: Pratt is also a superdad to his and ex Anna Faris' 5-year-old son Jack.

The child was born premature. His dad is a longtime supporter of the March of Dimes charity, which helps protect mothers and babies' health by working to prevent premature births, birth defects and infant mortality.
And my wife must follow Pratt on instagram because she randomly shows me funny and sweet pictures with his son, like this one from the article:

Damn. Had no idea dude was spiritual. Awesome. That’s bravery folks, respectfully giving a position in front of a potentially hostile environment.

He's a major character in two huge franchises right now and has no #metoo scandal. I'm pretty sure his career is not in danger just because he's an open Christian that respects veterans.

I don't know. I think the "poop at a party" one was a pretty good one.
