True story,

I was purchasing a firearm and while filing out the ATF form cam upon the question of sex.

The choices are:

Male
Female
non-Binary


So I asked the dealer if anyone ever checked non-binary.

He told me that not only has no one ever checked it, but that if anyone ever does he will refuse to sell to them based on mental instability.

It’s freaking nuts. You can’t buy alcohol or tobacco until you’re 21 or firearm, ammunition, hell, I don’t think you can buy spray paint until you’re 18..all because society says you are not mature enough to handle those responsibilities or consequences of those actions, but you can decide to “cut it off”. We are living in be bizarro world.

Pre-"transition" suicide rates are somewhere in the neighborhood of 6× the national average. Post-"transition" suicide rates are exactly the same as pre-"transition" rates.

At some point, the argument that this is mental illness, and not "science", must be accepted. Also, it must be accepted that "gender dysphoria" is common among young teens whose bodies and hormones are rapidly changing.

I grew up in a TINY conservative rural town of 800 people and our school facilities were all on the same block. Middle school and high school shared the same two buildings, and elementary school had their own building. We all shared the same cafeteria, gymnasium and sports fields...

There was a kid when I was in high school who was still in elementary school and he was as effeminate as one can possibly imagine, and often wore his grandmother's blouses to school and I'm not kidding. This was in the mid 90s. After I had already graduated and this kid was a high schooler, he slowly started acting a little more normal and wearing clothes that were more masculine.

That kid is now a tool pusher for a well recognized drilling company, makes bank rolls every week, and consistently pulls the hottest tail of almost anyone I've ever known. I saw him coming out of the bar just last Saturday night with a legit OT-9 hanging off his arm.

My point is, when this kid was 8-12 years old, if someone would have tried to convince him that he's actually a girl and talk him into "transitioning", he'd have done it. But nothing like that would've ever even been dreamed of in my town back then, and this kid is from a good, strong Christian family that everyone likes and respects... so everyone just said "yeah, he's a weird kid, he'll outgrow it".

Guess what? He did.
