Those people were voting to convict from moment 1 to save their own asses. They will let the appeals court decide.

This is a teachable moment for everyone.

There will certainly be an appeal if found guilty--it's not over til it's over, and there were real irregularities here. Maxine Waters' interference and no change of venue are salient features of this trial, among others.

He will be convicted of something, the question is what crime? Plus, appeal is already ready to go thanks to Maxine. At this point I don’t think a fair trial is possible in this country.
