This should be required viewing for everyone in this thread. I'm shocked the BBC even aired this a decade ago. It's a documentary about the London Borough of Newham, which is the heart of London's East End, Cockney culture and West Ham United FC. It's extremely sad and makes me angry every time I watch it. Newham is now less than 15% white British (it was 90% white British just 50 years ago), while it's almost 45% Asian and 35% Muslim.

The UK wants American social media giants to censor their material or face British fines. The response has been: 'Uh, no.' They did a study to see if they could just replace American and China based social media with their own. They determined that they cannot because their tech is too primitive.

Historically the UK has been the most similar nation in terms of values to the US, thats why people care to see what is happening to it
The UK has done a much better, but not good enough job at integrating and assimilating migrants compared to the rest of Europe
France is going to be the first country to be completely fricked. Huge muslim and migrant population. Zero assimilation and integration. They have entire no go zones dominated by foreigners where the police dont go
Just look at the demographics of voters. Without the muslim vote, the socialists and liberals would be getting their arse kicked in most European countries. France would have had National Rally in power right now

I've been an Anglophile my entire life. I've been there extensively. I've seen the changes the past 20 years with my own eyes. And it's not just Americans who are down on Britain. There's an exodus of young indigenous British people leaving the UK because of the problems there. It's extremely sad to see.

I don't see the same thing at all when I've gone there. I guess I never expected anything different.
To be honest though, I do not have a lot of love for the Muslims who come to America and do the whole Free Palestine thing. I find that insulting.
I do love to needle Texans over it for fun since they come with a lot of bravado but yet also have a lot of mosques there.
But you seem very knowledgeable, so I can't doubt your sincerity.

Large cities drive the politics. We have been screwed due to the Northeast, Chicago and Cali cities.

The footage is out there. He was definitely insulted by some college kids. Of course, insults were the best they could do in the absence of any valid points. Seems like their left wing has done a number on their universities as well.

It is hyperbole and I think it's unrealistic to expect content creators who operate entirely through a political lens to reflect things as they are - which is to say - most of any normal person's time in the UK would be entirely impacted by politics/social shift.
That said, GB is cucked, 70% of the country is uncomfortable with the concept of British pride. Germany is worse, but at least Germany has a pretty rational basis for how they got to this irrational point.

I went to England for the first time in 1982 and to Scotland in 2010. They were amazing places and I’ve always wanted to go back. In fact, I’ve often said if I had to leave the US and could only live in one country the rest of my life it would be Scotland. Not anymore.
