If you're American and don't leave the country much or ever, I can understand how thinking any country that isn't yours sucks.

IMO, they have a very good country and culture as a whole. A lot more welcoming than America in many regards.

One simple instance: my wife is handicapped now due to arthritis and they helped us in every single station on their national rail.

Not just the white folks but also British Indians and Muslim folks. Very nice to each other and especially to Americans which I still find happily odd.

As their politics go, I don't always agree but I do agree that it's their country and they can run it any way they wish. Every country runs their own affairs in the ways that make sense to them even if we think it makes no sense from over here.

The problem was explained perfectly by Enoch Powell. The British people have never voted for this massive influx of immigrants. There were never British citizens, merely subjects of the crown. When the Empire ended, the floodgates opened regardless of what the indigenous population wanted.

And we're talking about complete demographic shifts in less than half a lifetime. Areas once 90% white British now feel like a foreign country to people in less than half a century. Take a look at Wikipedia for most London Boroughs. Look at the white British population in 1980 or 1990 and compare it to today. It's the closest thing to an ethnic cleansing you'll find in Western Europe the last half century. Hundreds of thousands of people have fled to Essex or Kent because their English community became Lahore or Delhi almost overnight.

Are you planning on moving over there?

Curiously, why are you so concerned about the UK becoming a Caliphate as if that could ever happen?
