I can make a strong argument but not for Charlie and TPUSA, this country and world may in a much different place. We would essentially be Europe within a couple years.

I don't think it's overstating things to say this is the most significant moment in US history for Christianity.

Again the humor here is that the left was railing against a Christian nationalism that was really a minority viewpoint within the GOP.

Now they’re getting actual Christian nationalism that will be a foundational element of the platform moving forward both overtly and indirectly.

You don’t have to be a Christian to be an American. But Christian values and morality is going to be what we basically agree to use as a framework moving forward for what we’re going to do culturally. Exactly as the founders intended and previous generations got away from to our great detriment.

"A Mighty Fortress is Our God" by Martin Luther, 1527

1 A mighty fortress is our God,
a bulwark never failing;
our helper he, amid the flood
of mortal ills prevailing.
For still our ancient foe
does seek to work us woe;
his craft and power are great,
and armed with cruel hate,
on earth is not his equal.

2 Did we in our own strength confide,
our striving would be losing,
were not the right Man on our side,
the Man of God's own choosing.
You ask who that may be?
Christ Jesus, it is he;
Lord Sabaoth his name,
from age to age the same;
and he must win the battle.

3 And though this world, with devils filled,
should threaten to undo us,
we will not fear, for God has willed
his truth to triumph through us.
The prince of darkness grim,
we tremble not for him;
his rage we can endure,
for lo! his doom is sure;
one little word shall fell him.

4 That Word above all earthly powers
no thanks to them abideth;
the Spirit and the gifts are ours
through him who with us sideth.
Let goods and kindred go,
this mortal life also;
the body they may kill:
God's truth abideth still;
his kingdom is forever!

As I've said before, his death is a significant political and cultural catalyst for things to come. The outpouring of grief by good, upstanding people and those same people seeing the evil vitriol from the left is the tipping point IMO.

The left spent decades indoctrinating, financing and perpetuating hate and lies. And now their social experiment has come to fruition, the results are going to be less than desired. Instead of silencing a generation they have emboldened it, and hopefully, in the end it will be their downfall.

5+ hours of it. Kirk had an extraordinary life, definitely worthy of today.

First time in 20 years that I sat in front of a TV for 6 hours on a September Sunday and didn’t watch a single play of football.

Does anyone else have a vague sense that something rather big is happening behind the scenes? And I don't mean the autism thing.

DJT seemed more pleased with himself than usual and not in an ego sense. He definitely wasn't angry Trump tonight that he's been the last two weeks.

Hopefully some arrests in Utah are imminent

The amount of people on WAFB’s facebook laughing about the service is insane

You can guess the demographics

I knew ahead of time this would be going on on all platforms, not surprised one bit.

Make no mistake, we are at war, plain and simple.

A long time ago I blocked all local news channel Facebook pages and my life is better because of that. I used to let those comments consume my time because I felt the need to set these people straight. I’m ashamed to admit how old I was when I finally realized that arguing with trash would not accomplish anything. Not sure how Charlie Kirk did it but that’s why my memorial service will not last 6 hours. He was better than me in every way and I’m inspired to be more like him, however, I will not be visiting WAFB comment section to debate with vile idiots.

Same here. Fiancé and I got our errands done before 11 and stayed on the couch all day. Barely even picked up our phones except to order 2 shirts from the Turning Point site.

12 weeks delivery time and our top several choices were sold out. Bought 2 anyway. :

That was beyond surreal. Haven’t heard a speech in my life approach that level of gravity and emotion.

Yes it was. You could look at the crowd. There wasnt a dry eye in there. When she talked of forgiveness.

Everyones life is changed because of the series of events that took place 11 days ago, You can see that on everyones face at that Memorial.
That memorial did more to bring it all together than close him out and simply forget about Charlie. Her speech will never be forgotten and highlights the tragedy that happened that day.

September 10th will be remembered.
As they say, Remember, Remember the 10th of September.

I haven’t read through this entire thread and it may have been mentioned, but there was a level of fierceness just below the surface of the emotional, widowed, Erika Kirk. Yes, she forgave the individual but the fierceness is going to be unleashed on the leftist. She has a fire burning in her after her horrific loss. My fiancé cried during her speech and I felt a burning calling to be the best man and husband I can be. The emotion in the speech was unlike anything I can compare it too.

What I’m extremely confident in saying is that CKs assassination is a party and potentially nation changing event.

Gen Z just saw the guy who showed them a path to political and religious engagement shot down just for talking by the same people he’d been warning them about.

Millennials and Gen X just realized that part of the left is gleefully violent and we are likely facing open kinetic political violence within our lifetimes. It was a forced realization that we will never be able to coexist as things currently stand and that a sizable percentage of that party flat out wants us dead because we believe what CK did on most topics.

And the boomers are watching their retirement years descend into a full political meltdown that probably reminds them in some ways of their formative years during the civil rights and Vietnam war eras.

Nothing is the same as it was before he died and there is no going back to that status quo. There is only victory or the subjugation of pretty much every bedrock value we on the right have.

This is well said, and I hope you are right on all of it. I sure hope young people now realize if you don't agree with leftist policy, they will hunt you down and kill you. They aren't open to discussion and agreeable disagreement, they are only interested in silencing their opposition.

Come to the side bathed in light, and make us the majority in this country again.
