Bad idea for conservatives to get behind him/her as a political leader. If he wants to stay in the background promoting fiscal responsibility and secure borders, then that's fine. But the Republican party should never get behind letting a mentally ill man in a dress governing the largest state in this country. I think its a mute point because he would stand no chance to win.

If you can back a fat adulterous slob, you can back a man in a dress.

it being a trans is irrelevant even though trans is a mental illness....i think the simple way to put it is there is someone better and would do a better job than him/her

If you can blow random men at rest stops, then you can just come out of the closet.

It's California, he fits in just fine there. Newsom will win the recall in a landslide anyway. A republican will not win a statewide race in California.

Been saying all along, HE'S not right in the head.

Either they're (trannies) all mental or, none of them are.

Sorry. I wont back anybody just because they say that they are Republican, much less in a state that I pray falls off into the ocean more sooner than later.

And this is why conservatives lose.

Until conservatives focus on economics and stop trying to be the morality police that will continue to lose in all but the Bible Belt.

Yes I know morals is part of being a conservative but it’s stupid to frick the economy because you disagree with someone’s sexuality or it they had an affair. If the uphold my economic values then I’d vote for them.

She's running for governor. She might be just what Cali needs, and what she does won't affect me.

I agree with the OP. This is just another attempt by Republicans to sneak in the back door and force us down the road of leftism.

No pun intended.

It's actually just the opposite. And is there not someone else in that state of 40 million that can talk about fiscal responsibility that isn't mentally ill?
