Maybe they are going with the sample of ones who are actually married to the mom. Which is an extremely small sample size.

Black fathers (70%) who live with their children were most likely to have bathed, dressed, changed or helped their child with the toilet every day, compared with their white (60%) or Hispanic (45%) counterparts.
It's all semantics...
Notice how they say "who live" with their children... The mother is probably the primary provider...
Don't give us percentages, give us actual numbers...

Hispanic (45%) counterparts.
Of course... They still live in a culture where the father works and the mother takes care of the kids...
Why is the CDC promoting this... Weird take.
and this is produced by a California TV station...

What the frick is the CDC even doing wasting time with this? The agency that had no idea of what to do when an actual pandemic hit is studying parenting?
Whoever wasted money on studying this needs to be sent to the Congo to treat ebola victims.

What actual percentage of the father and son are looked at when less than 20 percent are even connected with each other

I would assume this, although they're keeping this as quiet as possible in the story to push their preferred narrative.

That's good to know. Glad to hear it.

64 percent of all black kids are raised by single moms. This is an interesting report.

Regardless of my thoughts and opinions on this, can we all agree that this is not something the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention should be involved in tracking, discussing or reporting?

It's a government bureaucracy. By nature it spends every waking minute trying to expand it's power and scope to justify a bigger budget next year.

First, they are playing a shell game.
Second, even then, they are using a very specific definition of "involved."
