Covid was understood in real time to be the political weapon it clearly was. Covid was also understood in nearly real time to not be the threat to life the Left/establishment promised it was. The argument that enough is known about Covid only in hindsight to make rational decisions is inaccurate.

As for Trump v. others that played along at least for a while - with Trump, he became more compliant over time. With others, it was the other way around. Also, only Trump is accountable for his administration, which the CDC is part of - and he should have made sure his own people were not making shite up, lying, hiding/hedging, etc.

So, contrary to what we were told, the CDC had evidence of post-vax myocarditis VERY EARLY ON. Yet they allowed and encouraged physicians to be ostracized for expressed vax concerns.

Then the CDC pushed for kids to get the shot under EUA's knowing full well the demographic at highest myocarditis risk were young males.

Every medical professional in those email chains should be stripped of medical licensure. Additionally, those who testified falsely under oath about this, (Rochelle Walensky and others privy to the myocarditis info) should be arrested and jailed for perjury.

I do know the threat to life the original strains actually were, though. They were roughly 6x-8x more virulent than present-day strains.

You're the one that answered a question of mine back in the Covid day about the age when C19 overtook the flu for being more lethal for people that weren't already gravely unwell. As I recall your answer was somewhere between 35-40. There were a lot of good discussions about Covid/Covid response on this board, and I'm not revising history in suggesting that Covid response as we got it was never rational given what was known in real time.
