Catholic Priests sexually assaulting boys....

When we see an instance of a child being assaulted by a Priest, the Left expend all ordnance attacking Christianity, but never attack Homosexuality.....
Why is it OK to denigrate millions of Christians for the actions of a few, but never attack Homosexuality for the actions of a few?
Now, the dirty little secret is that Heterosexual men don't sexually assault boys or other men, because once you cross that line of seeking gratification from the same-sex, you are no longer Heterosexual (at the very least you are Bi).
Things to ponder....

Pretty obvious that historically queers found refuge in Catholic priesthood. Now that they can live out of the closet, maybe the priesthood will draw fewer queers

It's not just the left. You see it among the non-religious.
The reality is that homosexuals have flocked to the church as Priests. At best, it is due to struggles dealing with their internal demons that simply resulted in the destructive homosexual element with the Priesthood.
At worst, they did it to take advantage of the Priesthood knowing they would victimize young people.
In other words, your post is very accurate. It's homosexuality that is the driving factor behind the abuse within the church.
Now, that same homosexual element has driven the church to hide and protect these people.

I think the Catholic Church is a lot like the Republican Party, rife with corruption on high. That said, there is a ‘movement’ within their ranks of people who are flat out conservative. I.e., honest. Like Trump the are somewhat hamstrung by the weight and momentum of Institutional power but labor toward reform. I work with some close. Though they will not throw their belief that their Church is THE bonafide Church of Christ, they won’t tolerate bs.

No one will look at these other actions because it doesn't fit their narrative about the Catholic Church.
People love to tear down the Catholic Church. There have been many wrongdoings by the Church, anything that is run by man will have those that do bad things. And anything that is 2000 years old will have periods of being run by bad men. I really don't think there is any institution that has been around that long that doesn't have periods of bad doings.

Add it to the list of things they ignore because they support them. Like sexual abuse in the public school system. It's far more common than it is in the Catholic church, but it's never discussed.
