I'm no fan of the pope, but.... the Catholic Church teaches that the pope is infallible only when he is speaking within the "office" of the Catholic Church teachings.
Thats different from stating he perfect like Jesus.

Acts 13:38 Let it be known to you therefore, brothers, that through this man forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, 39 and by him everyone who believes is freed from everything from which you could not be freed by the law of Moses.
Consider this portion of God’s word.
quote:
What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, and one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?
For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.[
James 2:14-26

Who determines whether the Pope is being so faithful?
What if the pope told the cardinal, hey Bud, no you’re wrong, you may criticize me, but the cardinal disagreed with that, would the cardinal immediately self destruct in a cosmic conundrum?

Are you implying that belief plus something else is required?
I know what we can do. Let's throw out all of the scriptures that say only belief is required because that makes it too easy. Someone may think they can sin all they want.

Me too.
So does Trump.
The Catholic Church is long overdue an enema.

No. I’m saying that conversion results in changed lives where faith results in action. I very much respect and agree with you placing Jesus Christ preeminent. God Almighty. Prophet. High Priest. King of Kings. Sacrificial Lamb. It is him and him and him only In which my hope for salvation rests. Nothing else. My so called righteous acts invoked to make way for me in heaven are but menstrual rags per Isiah. Like the old song says, Nothing but the blood of Jesus…

Seriously? Pope needs to stay out of politics. Comparing him to Jesus is blasphemy.

Only in the catholic community

No one is perfect. Why make a clickbait post?

it must be clearly stated that no one has the right to criticize the Pope when he faithfully follows the mission he received from Christ
This would be true if the Pope was actually and faithfully following the directive of Jesus Christ.
But he's not.
What would Christ think about the religious head of Catholicism openly allowing a prayer room in the Vatican Apostolic Library? You know, a prayer room to give a safe space to secular, radical religious zealots who adamantly reject both Christ and the GOD of the Biblical Old Testament?

My brother in Christ, Jesus loves you regardless of your ad hominem attacks.
Posted on 4/18/26 at 10:29 pm to RoyalWe
Maybe don’t blatantly be deceitful then. Ad hominem comes after you very clearly and intentionally lie.
Posted on 4/18/26 at 10:32 pm to METAL
Please point to this deceit, sir.
Posted on 4/18/26 at 10:35 pm to RoyalWe
Sure. Read the OP title and compare that to the full post and link.

I didn’t post it, sir. However, if we are to stop the bashing then the most direct way to do that is to stop the bashing. Jesus loves you.

Is there some kind of exam that can be administered before posting rights are granted? Would do wonders for this place.

The first ones Muslims will behead will be the Bishops, Cardinals and the Pope.
That's a historical imperative to Islamists.
The only thing standing in their way right now are ... well, Christians, mainly Protestants and Jews.
Prove me wrong.
