This is awesome news and exactly what needs to happen. He need to invite the US military to strafe the southern side of the border with warthogs and take out the cartel.

It controls elections, assassinates political candidates, it cuts the heads, feet, and hands off of 40 children and dumps their bodies in the middle of the street in Monterey. It has the supply for the largest demand in the world by far.
The difference between the Cartels and Jihadi’s is that the Cartels have a network that is so integrated into the United States and there are literally 100’s of thousands of people that are in America that are in debt or are owned by the Cartels.
If we send in Special Ops (which I think we should) and start drone strikes in Mexico there will be retaliation in America. The cartels will do what they do and that’s assassinate politicians, abduct and murder people, and project terror. There will be gunfights all over America. Then we will retaliate, and that means a War with Mexico. I don’t see how it doesnt get there in less than a year.
Editing to say is a war with Mexico, even special ops and drone strikes, the smart thing to do right now when the sleeping giant is China. China and Iran proxies that are also here waiting. We have alot on our plate. It’s a catch-22 because we can’t accept anymore Americans dieing at the hands of the cartel so we have to do something.

It has to be done, we either reap the consequences now or sometime down the road when the Cartels have had more time to prepare.
If this gets hot, it will be interesting to see the stance Hispanic Americans will take towards it. I think they will support for two reasons: 1) It removes the "stain" of the cartels they all live under and 2) it is good for Mexico and I bet the citizens of Mexico wish they didn't have to live under the thumb of the cartels.
