Even though it is 100% their fault for voting blue.

Very little, from America's standpoint.

This is what we need to help push through Small Modular Reactors (SMRs).

At least it’s 3 shithole liberal stronghold states, lol

On a serious note,

WE CAN SHUTDOWN the main pipeline that runs EAST TO WEST for Canada’s main pipeline & not many people know this.

But the pipeline dips down into the USA in the central’ish part of the country,

We can choke it off right in the middle & cause some major problems for them liberal pricks

One was supposed to shut down this year and has been pushed back a couple times to now 2030. Apparently someone pulled their head out thy arse and saw they didn't have anywhere enough capacity to do so.

The biggest problem is we shut shite down and take it apart so it could never be used again.

Good thing they didnt do that here.

Can we please build a fricking nuclear plant now?

We need more AP-1000's. Need people to get down to Vogtle, GA and talk to them. I am sure the next plant can be done more cheaply because of "lessons learned."

And how do these states usually vote? Maybe this will be their come to Jesus moment

I mean trusting a foreign (unfriendly) govt with something so critical, power supply. Every single politician involved should be flogged in the city square

Let’s see aren’t those all sanctuary states

They’ve got some bonehead politicians running Minnesota. They’ve got some bonehead people running

And we know the Karen who runs Michigan

While I’m not happy about this development, you know these states are run by Libs who resist everything Trump, so on one hand I simply don’t care what happens to them.

Is the reason these states purchase outside energy because they've outlawed producing their own due to environmental stuff? if so, frickem.

Make it an absolute nightmare for travel to and from Canada and don’t exempt professional sports. NHL playoffs start soon with several Canadian teams in the mix.

The US has made it very difficult to build nukes. Couple that with our trend toward de-industrialization and the timeline for new generating capacity is extended, to say the least.

The United States is a big ship, and they do take a good while to course correct, but it’s happening, and we will be re-shoring more and more manufacturing. I think responsible nuclear may be included.

IMO we are not at the beginning of the end, but rather the end of the beginning, as one author I just read puts it.

We have geography/geopolitics on our side all we have to do is lean into it.

Canada has woefully overestimated their position with the USA.

Everything you hear from Canadian leaders is public relations control propaganda.

Not good strategy to price control electricity at the beginning of springtime when every body turns off the heater, days are longer
