Can we make some form of intelligence test for people to be allowed to vote?

We don’t let everyone drive a car because some people are mentally unfit to do so and would be a safety hazard to all those around them. Why is this not the same for voting and electing who rules over us?

Because the Democrat party is racist AF and will say that if you do this, then you are disenfranchising black people, implying black people are not mentally fit.

Mental illness is celebrated rather than treated these days. If anything, the powers that be would try to award the mentally unfit with extra voting powers if they could.
I would be very pleased to see voting limited to only those individuals who pay taxes. If you are a mooch on our economy and society, you have no say as to how the country is run. (Sorta like - if you don't have an ante in the kitty, you don't get to play the hand.)

Neither party wants a populace they can't control.
Who counts the votes holds the power. Until then, our votes are just a measure of how energized we are by a thing. Until we find a way to ensure real/honest voting, our path will continue blazing forth in this "No it's the other side!" mentality. The "hey, i don't care that we're 40 trillion in debt" society. The child sacrifice, and history erasing society. The import millions of people that will destabilize our system society. The we will do nothing because we like air conditioning and modern conveniences society.

And if you reach epic levels of stupidity you get to become a leader of the people.

There already is a test out there that determines who should vote, it's called a tax return.
