Can anyone explain what the Democratic policy is re immigration?

Watching these protests and I am wondering what the democratic alternative is to immigration enforcement. Should the US not have borders because they’re mean? Should we just let every illiterate immigrant across the world come on in? What is the line in the sand? Perhaps centrists such as VOR and Tboy could explain.

Based on the last few years it seems to be a policy in two parts:
1. Any person from any country has a right to come to the United States at taxpayer expense and fully take advantage of every social program offered by federal, state, and local governments.
2. After arriving in the United States they can’t be removed for any reason.

Centrists?
I'm a centrist from a couple years ago. Back when men were men and women were women.
Now, we'll those two centrists think that men can be women and women can be men. So i might not necessarily call them centrists.
They want us to do what they consider the right thing. That means take in the world's poor and uneducated. The consider it the right thing. Then we have to support them, because they are poor and uneducated.
I wonder how long i have to work each year to make up for these people who are not working.
Anyways, let in the poor and uneducated and then we need to believe that these people are going to support themselves even though many of them remain on assistance.
And then get angry when you try to kick out the criminal and the free loaders.
