So this is all that matters.

We’ve seen this film before

Democrats typically prevail in such close contests

And the more the votes are counted, the more they favor Democrats. It’s weird how it works.

It’s hard to know how many mail-in ballots there are until you know how many mail-in ballots you need.

The first wave would need to be no more than -18 for the recall to have a chance.

Three ‘Waves’ of Results to Be Reported

1. Recall 65% Yes; Elder wins
2. Recall 62% Yes; Elder wins
3. Recall 61% No.

What an odd endorsement of mail-in voting.

An election system that can't tell you who the winner is the night the polls close,

is a fricked up system.

It is not uncommon for candidates who are leading on Election Day to lose over the following days

Please stop thinking you can take California without doing the hard work.
Newsom has big money ( Getty) money behind him. He has a super majority in the legislature. He has the Bay Area at better than 65 % and a majority Congressional delegation. The fact that Larry Elder is in the conversation is incredible. But Republicans/Conservatives have not done the work. They have paltry infrastructure in place. Newsom will win because he had the infrastructure set up from an electioneering aspect mail in ballots, ballot harvesting, etc. Larry gets the Eastern counties and maybe splits in Orange County and maybe gets a close in San Diego but that is it.

You want to win in California, you need to fight on the lower offices that make things happen.

Well, Elder is NOT running "against" Newsome. It is two seperate questions entirely.

Newsome is "running" only versus "remove Newsome"

That sounds about right. The magical wave of 99.6% Newsom mail-in votes will arrive last.

Well, they can only know how many votes to manufacture after the counting is done.

Like I said Republicans have to do the work....and they have not. The Republicans and conservatives have essentially abandoned California

This is such bullshite. It's literally never happened before the 2020 stolen election. They're trying to normalize their cheating.

Correct. With the way Newsom has pissed everyone off it is very possible that he is recalled. We'll find out if enough dems are fed up with his crap. Because that is a big part of what it will take to get rid of him. I just don't know who those voters would swing to. Probably paffrath but who knows.

I’m with ya Figgy. White knuckling over here. Funny thing I’m in Fort Worth right now.

Guardedly optimistic.

thanks for yet another moot thought of pure defeatism - and nothing else.
