California passed a law that could allow babies to be killed up to 28 days AFTER birth. By using the word “perinatal” (which is the period that includes up to a month after a baby is born) instead of “prenatal” (before birth), the law legalizes infanticide.
Now a similar bill that could effectively legalize infanticide by blocking investigations of infant deaths in Washington has been signed by the governor.
A pro-life bill that would ban infanticide nationally was BLOCKED by Senator Schumer

Hmm, so what age, after birth, does the babies start to have rights? Very interesting….

I think you should give them to at least 12 years old. At that point, you’ll know if they are going to be a contributing member of society or a piece of shite

SCOTUS just said they have citizen rights as soon as they clear the vagina.

I hope even the PB isn't dumb enough to actually think this is true.

What's the catch? Has to be a very narrow niche instance of the child is badly suffering and has severe abnormalities that would cause its death, and doctors are in agreement that the life of the child can't be saved with surgery, or the child is born brain dead and is only able to live artificially.

I've honestly never heard a progressive provide an answer in discussions/debates. It wouldn't matter if they did, their "morality" is subjective and can be modified any time to match whatever demented shite they conceive.
That's the problem with not having an objective morality. Like having a bridge with no side rails, nothing to keep one on the path.

It's legit.
quote:
“...actions or omissions with respect to their pregnancy or actual, potential, or alleged pregnancy outcome, including miscarriage, stillbirth, or abortion, or perinatal death due to causes that occurred in utero.”
quote:
“Causes that occurred in utero” is an extraordinarily elastic legal standard. What doesn’t originate in utero for a newborn? Gestational development, genetic conditions, complications during delivery — almost anything that goes wrong with a newborn can be traced back to conditions that existed before birth. You’d need a medical examiner willing to draw a bright line between pre-birth and post-birth causation, and in practice, that line dissolves under any competent defense attorney’s argument.

Yep, the truth has a way of doing that to your beliefs.

Absolutely wicked. All arguments about "her body" and "it's not a baby but a fetus" (as irrational as they are), are out the window, and the truth has come to light. They just want to kill children as they see fit.
The 28-day time period is also arbitrary. Why not 28 weeks, 28 months, or 28 years after birth at this point? It's murder.

The fact you read this to mean "its now legal to kill a 27 day old in California" is....not surprising actually
Congratulations. You are the useful idiot that gets targeted and duped by clickbait media.

So killing a pregnant woman is no longer double homocide since the baby hasn't cleared a vagina yet?
Guess they need to change that law with that bullshite ruling.

Don't worry, with the ever growing window for abortion and the growing support for "Legally Assisted Suicide," they will basically back door in euthanasia as they always wanted.

I think I know the catch. A woman has major hormonal changes during pregnancy and immediately after birth. The 'caretaker' chemicals are dominating. If the baby comes out deformed physically or mentally retarded she still wants it. After a month the hormones return to normal and she thinks: 'What the shite have I done.'

18 U.S. Code § 1111 - Murder

Well that only addressed U.S. citizenship.
States can apply there own homicide laws.

If California indeed passed a law like that it will be invalidated by the US Constitution.
