And you folks who have never worn a uniform and are cheering for this parade need to take a long hard look at the fact that literally every single poster in this forum that has served or is serving thinks this parade is a horrible idea.

Old school military parades are silly. There are plenty of parades country-wide to express gratitude to the military. This is a waste of cash and hell, the military isn't prepared for this nonsense.
