Nope, even that crew wants nothing to do with the shitshow that a parade of that magnitude would bring. Trust me on this.

And you folks who have never worn a uniform and are cheering for this parade need to take a long hard look at the fact that literally every single poster in this forum that has served or is serving thinks this parade is a horrible idea.

I think a lot of these guys just think it's as simple as the soldiers showing up and marching. They have no idea how much preparation goes into these things and how disruptive it is to the units. And something like this is well beyond the scope of anything I've seen. I have no doubt that most units will have a week or two on rehearsals.

They should try this: go into work tomorrow and have everyone immediately cease what they're doing. Take them out to the parking lot and force walk them in circles for the entire week. Now send them back to work a week behind. Afterwords they should ask everyone how much their morale has improved.

There's a reason almost every vet in this thread is opposed to the parade and it isn't because they're anti-military or anti-America.

Done right, the parade can be awesome. I'm not talking about towing warheads and armored vehicles down Main Street, I'm talking a celebration of our vets, 5 branches marching with colors to honor those that came before, and those that are serving now. To be honest, I don't think President Trump wants an armament parade. The world knows we have arms, to gather them or even facsimiles would be a waste.

We should be able to honor our fighting forces. I'd rather we pay them more, but there you go. Snowflakes getting their titties in a twist think this would be an arms parade - I doubt that would be the case.

Well actually, almost every nation with a sizable military does parades like this. Check out France and Mexico's.

Mexico's military parades are a sight to behold.

Whether or not this parade is a good idea or not rests on the answer of only question—ais TechnoViking available to lead it?

The parade is an excuse to flood DC with the military for when the current admin unseals the 13000+ (currently sealed) indictments and arrests half of congress for treason

Yeah, but the VFW car they saw in the Christmas parade looked like it was full of good times.
